These portable warming units are very popular if you are planning on using a buffet at your next event. These units use steam as opposed to a direct flame to keep your food warm for the duration of the food service. No electricity is required just cans of sterno which can be purchased from Pedersens. One insert pan is included with each chafer rental. Each chafer requires 1 small can of sterno (2.5 oz) which will burn for approximately 1 - 1.5 hours per can. Order the number of cans that will suit the length of your food service.
